Dear Diary,

My mind echoes the numbness my body longs to feel

There too is in my heart a love that burns anonymously

All I ask is to free from pain permanently 

Dear Diary beyond my heart my soul bears a deep secret only eternity may reveal

Through humor smiles and laughter it is endeavored forever to conceal 

How in the shadows of the moon my glittering love dances divinely 

Forever with thee I am destined to dance upon those moonlit waters eternally

I wait throughout my listless life for her soft kiss to fall and my fate to then seal

Dear Diary full of wisdom and hidden bliss

I write to thee to speak in terms of tenderness 

Let us retreat to the moonlit cove within the shadow who hold secrets yet untold

I ask my sweet angel each morning only for a sacred kiss

A romantic Rendezvous in the shadows that linger between moonlight and utter darkness

Come to me my love be once forever in my embrace to hold

Dear Diary soon unto the world shall it be time to say goodbye

At last no masks to hide my pain my loneliness the tears I forbid the world to see me cry

How the moonlight now falls upon thee soft as angels kiss carried on the mist about the sky

Happiness laughter memories left for the world to find whilst you and I
